Performing Year’s Best Songs in 2 1/2 Minutes

Michael and Carissa Alvarado are members of a folk-pop group called US THE DUO.  And earlier this year, they were the first group to sign with a major label because their VINE videos were so popular. At that point, they were posting six-second covers of pop songs, and racked up more than four million followers.  And now a YouTube video they posted on Tuesday is blowing up online too. They took 12 of the biggest songs of the year, including “All of Me” by John Legend, “A Sky Full of Stars” by Coldplay, and “All About That Bass” by Meghan Trainor . . . and combined them into one two-and-a-half minute cover! We admire their talent.
