Mythbusters Adam Savage is in town tonight (12/11/15) to surprise and delight fans onstage at the INB Performing Arts Center. He promises the show will be interactive, with members of the audience invited to come up onstage to prove or debunk myths live and in person with Savage and his co-star Jamie Hyneman.
In addition to his work on Mythbusters, Jamie worked with Industrial Light and Magic on the first two Star Wars prequels. He jokingly apologized for that, as the Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones are the least well-received of the blockbuster franchise. But with the next Star Wars film, the Force Awakens, just days away, we had to ask him if he was excited to visit a galaxy far, far away once again. He is. “I have lots of friends who’ve worked on the new Star Wars,” he told us. “And the greatest spoiler I’ve heard is that it’s actually terrific.”
Mythbusters has been pretty great as well, airing it’s first episode in 2003, and now in it’s final season. Adam shares a few amazing Mythbusters stories in the podcast, and hints at what he’ll do next (hint: it’s not retirement–whew)! Press PLAY and enjoy the interview. He was great! And be sure to see “Mythbusters: Jamie and Adam Unleashed” tonight at 7:30pm at the INB. Tickets are still available through Tickwtswest. Should be very entertaining, and educational, for the whole family.
